Important Fair Dates

For the 2023 Fair

Schools should Register their intention to enter and state whether they will be running a school fair for preliminary judging, by emailing hugh.lensen@gmail.com by Friday the 4th August.
By Monday the 14th August estimated exhibit entry numbers for school fairs should be emailed to hugh.lensen@gmail.com 
 The committee will organise a judging panel and a date for the school fair. Schools will be given access to a google sheet to list their entries for judging. The Judging panel will decide which exhibits have met the standard for the Regional Fair and will add comments to the google sheet and assign the accepted exhibits an entry code.

 
By Monday 14th September all entries from schools should be finalised on the google sheet. Schools should editted the google sheet for missing entrants, entrants who have with drawn, spelling mistakes and any other issues by this date.

 

Tuesday before the Fair

Tuesday 19th September 

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CELEBRATION

Stadium 2000 will be open from 8 am for the Setting up of exhibits.

Judging; students with exhibits need to be present at the following times:
 
  • Yr 9-13 8.30 am to 11.00 am
  • Yr 7 & 8 11.00 am to 1.30 pm
  • Yr 3-6 11.00 am to 1.30 pm

Oral Presentations will take place in a side room.

Wednesday 20th September

The stadium will be open for the public to view exhibits and Prize giving will be at 7pm and all prize winners should be present
