SETTING UP
Stadium 2000 will be open from 8:00am on Tuesday
27 September to allow students to set up their exhibits.
Hand your computer entry form over at a computer desk and
make sure you collect your exhibitors and judges forms from
the printer. Attach the exhibitors form to your exhibit and
give the judges form to the judge.
SECURITY
The
Science & Technology Fair Committee
will provide security but can take no responsibility for
entries while they are on exhibition. Valuable items
should be secured, or, if necessary, removed after judging.
JUDGING
Occurs
on Tuesday
27 September
Yr 9-13 exhibitors will be judged from
8:30am until 11:00am
Yr 7 & 8 exhibitors will be judged
from 11am to 1:30pm
Yr 3-6 exhibitors will be judged from 11:30am
to 1:30pm
You
are expected to be present during judging when you will
be asked for your
judging form and to explain your exhibit. Make sure
you have your log book.
As soon as your exhibit has been judged you are asked to
make your way back to school.
By the time the Fair is
opened for public viewing at 4:00pm, most prizes will be
shown on participation certificates, however the major prize
giving ceremony is on Friday evening.
PUBLIC VIEWING
The
Science & Technology Fair will be open to he public
and school groups from:
4:00pm
to 7:00pm on Tuesday
27 September
and 9:00am to 7:00pm on Wednesday 28 September
It is suggested that no
more than two class groups from one school view at one time.
Viewing Donation: A
gold coin donation will be appreciated.
PRIZE
GIVING
This
will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday 28 September at
the Fair venue. It is suggested that all students attend
from 6.00pm on to show
and explain their entries to other students, parents and
the public.
CLEAN UP
All
exhibits must be collected after the Prize Giving Ceremony
between
8:00 and 8:30 pm. If you are unable to collect your
exhibit than you should arrange for someone to collect if
for you.
The
Science and Technology Fair Committee can take no
responsibility for exhibits after 8:30pm.
